Kathy
Practice Administrator
Kathy is the friendly face who greets you as soon as you step into Dental Cure. A lifelong resident of Downers Grove, IL, she’s passionate about helping people feel welcome and cared for.
Whether she’s answering calls or assisting patients in the office, Kathy loves making connections and ensuring everyone feels at ease. She’s all about creating a positive experience for patients and being a part of a team that truly values its community.
When she’s not at work, Kathy enjoys spending time with her parents and two sisters, traveling to fun spots like Universal Studios, or relaxing on quiet days. She’s excited to meet you and looks forward to being part of your dental care journey.
Paola
Patient Care Coordinator
Paola is a Patient Care Coordinator and front desk team member at Dental Cure. She joined the practice in December 2025 and enjoys being part of a positive, professional environment where teamwork, communication, and great patient care come first.
Paola studied health education at Purdue Global and is very interested in the health field. She is also affiliated with Dental Cure.
Paola enjoys the dental profession because it combines health care with customer service. She loves interacting with patients, answering their questions, and helping them feel at ease before and after appointments. Her favorite part of her role is helping patients feel comfortable and heard, especially when they are nervous, and knowing she helped make their visit a positive experience.
Originally from Ecuador, Paola was raised in Ecuador and the United States. She is proud of her parents for moving to the United States to create a better future and education for her and her brother. Coming to the United States without knowing English was challenging, but she is proud of how far she has come and is grateful every day for her family’s support and sacrifice.
Outside of the office, Paola loves going to the gym, spending time with her family and boyfriend, and streaming video games part time. She does not have any pets right now, but she hopes to have a puppy very soon.
Melissa
Dental Assistant
Melissa is known for her friendly demeanor and positive attitude. She entered the dental field in 2010, bringing with her a certification as a medical assistant and extensive cross-training in dental assisting and front desk operations, including billing. Melissa’s background reflects her commitment to patient care and her versatility within the dental practice.
In her role, Melissa finds joy in helping patients meet their dental needs and ensuring they leave with a smile. Her approachable and upbeat nature makes her a favorite among patients, who appreciate her ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment. Melissa’s dedication to patient care is evident in the strong relationships she has built over the years.
Outside of her professional life, Melissa is a proud mother of five. Her family is very outgoing, and they enjoy hiking, traveling, and engaging in arts and crafts together. Having been with her current practice since 2012, Melissa views her workplace as a second home, where patients have become like family.
Alina
Dental Assistant
Alina Wojcik is a dedicated dental assistant who joined the practice in July 2025. Born in Illinois and raised in Wheeling, Alina brings warmth, empathy, and strong communication skills to her role every day. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and media with a minor in marketing from National Louis University, and her background allows her to connect with patients and team members alike.
Alina enjoys the dental profession because it gives her the opportunity to build meaningful connections and continually learn. Her favorite part of interacting with patients is developing relationships with them, as well as creating a comfortable and welcoming environment.
She loves coming to work each day because of the supportive, positive, and fun team environment that has been built within the practice. Outside the office, Alina enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her dog, Ruby—a five-year-old mixed breed who adores everyone she meets.
Family is everything to Alina; she proudly describes them as her greatest inspiration and is deeply proud of all they have accomplished together.
